New online skincare boutique Found Clean Beauty launches

Stocking only the cleanest of beauty brands from around the world, Found takes the guesswork out of finding products to help you on your wellness journey.

We’ve finally Found what you’ve been looking for

Beauty can be a fun but confusing playground of products. With new ingredients constantly being discovered, whilst others get added to the restricted or banned lists, it’s tricky for consumers to navigate what’s beneficial for their skin and body, and what is not. This is where the new online beauty retailer, Found Clean Beauty steps in. Committed to sourcing products and brands that are safe and toxin-free, their extensive selection process ensures consumers don’t have to worry about buying anything that contains any ‘risky’ or ‘ red flag’ ingredients. Perfect for those who are looking to avoid chemicals that may harm their long-term health or looking to reduce their toxic-load.

Alongside best-selling brands such as Oskia, Kora Organics, Rahua, Grown Alchemist and Votary, customers can also find UK exclusives such as Anokha - a clean and gentle brand developed by New York plastic surgeon Dr Nina Naidu that delivers  clinical results;  along with MG Naturals - an Australian make-up brand completely free of Titanium Dioxide.

How do Found do it?

Found don’t just take brands on their word. They go one step further to verify and fact-check everything and cut through the ‘clean-washing’. Employing a screening process that looks for over 150 different chemicals that have the potential to be harmful to our health – based on current scientific research, not just scaremongering – they do the hard work and research, so you don’t have to. A must when ‘clean’ claims are rife but the term remains unregulated.

Getting rid of grey areas and making beauty black and white, the concept is based on four pillars – Empowerment; Transparency; Community and Education. In short, Found Clean Beauty delivers honest, truly clean beauty, without the disclaimers.

What’s out?

Carcinogens, ingredients linked to fertility and reproductive harm, endocrine disruptors, organ toxins (ingredients that can negatively affect the optimal function of internal organs), neurotoxins and DNA & cell toxins. Ingredients such as, parabens, aluminium, petrochemicals, titanium dioxide, phthalates, synthetic retinol and silicones.

What’s in?

A comprehensive and curated collection of brands and products that have hard-working and efficacious formulas, without any controversial ingredients. Skincare, haircare, body care, make-up, mother and baby, candles and home scents, men’s grooming and wellness – you name it, there isn’t an area of beauty that hasn’t been scrutinised with products carefully selected to match your wants and needs. Ensuring all customers get exactly what they’re looking for.

Who founded Found?

When Charlie Mcintosh was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in her mid-forties, as part of a healing journey she decided to rethink what she put in and onto her body. However, it wasn’t as easy as she had hoped to make simple skincare swaps, and she quickly discovered that most products she came across on the high street were full of toxins and endocrine disruptors.

Struggling to find beauty products that were safe, vetted and minus any ‘clean-washing’ claims, Charlie, now in remission, joined forces with her long-standing friend, Zoe Bulgin, and after two years of research and education, Found was created.

Making a commitment to keep up to date with ever-changing regulations around ingredients, Found promises to be a one-stop-shop where people can feel confident that whatever they purchase won’t compromise their - or their families - health and wellbeing. In short, their knowledge gives you the power to know exactly what is, and what isn’t, in your products. Get ready for a positive change.
