Istituto Marangoni London, the prestigious international institution for fashion and design education, is proud to announce the continuation of its highly anticipated Fashion Insider Talks for 2025. For the first time, these events are open to the public, with a limited number of tickets available.


Building on last year’s dynamic series of high-profile industry engagements—including a captivating talk by iconic designer Sir Paul Smith on “lateral thinking” and the importance of originality in design—the institute continues to redefine its forward-thinking curriculum. November 2024 also marked the launch of the Maison Meta Mentorship Programme, an exclusive initiative for MBA students, further solidifying Istituto Marangoni’s position as a leader in innovative fashion education.


Upcoming Event: Susie Bubble


On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, Istituto Marangoni London is delighted to welcome fashion journalist and one of fashion’s original personal style bloggers, Susannah Lau, known globally as Susie Bubble. Lau will join Joe Bromley, Fashion Editor at the London Standard for an insightful in-conversation talk exploring her career journey, the evolution of digital fashion media, and the changing landscape of the industry she has chronicled so vividly over the past two decades. With her trademark mix of intellect, originality, and fearless style, Lau promises to bring a fresh perspective and a wealth of inspiration to students and public guests alike.

Recent Event: Sarah Mower MBE


On February 4, 2025, Istituto Marangoni London hosted an in-conversation talk with renowned Vogue journalist and British Fashion Council (BFC) Ambassador for Emerging Talent, Sarah Mower MBE. A passionate advocate for young designers and respected voice in global fashion, Mower took to the stage on the eve of her appointment as a new mentor at the school. Beginning Spring 2025, she will guide BA Fashion Design students through a bespoke mentorship programme rooted in real-world expertise and an unwavering dedication to nurturing emerging talent.

Recent Event: Rahul Mishra


On January 28, 2025, the school welcomed acclaimed Indian haute couture designer Rahul Mishra, winner of the prestigious International Woolmark Prize. Mishra’s in-conversation session explored the power of slow fashion, artisan empowerment, and his philosophy of redefining luxury as a participatory and sustainable experience. He also introduced his new role as a mentor for BA Fashion Design students at Istituto Marangoni London, sharing his inspiring journey and global vision.
