This talk also marked an exciting announcement: Mower, a champion of young designers and renowned critic, will join an illustrious group of collaborators to Istituto Marangoni London as a mentor. In her new role, she will lead a mentorship programme for the BA Fashion Design students starting in Spring 2025. Mower's extensive industry expertise and dedication to nurturing emerging talent will offer students an invaluable resource, as she brings a wealth of knowledge to inspire and guide the next generation of designers.

In October, the institution welcomed iconic designer Sir Paul Smith, who captivated a full auditorium with insights on “lateral thinking” and encouraged students to approach design with originality and a spirit of innovation—a philosophy that resonates with the school’s forward-thinking curriculum.
In November, the school will also launch the Maison Meta Mentorship Programme, an exclusive initiative designed for MBA students.
