A fusion of luxury and sustainability, MAARÏ, the word for ‘Sea’ in Sardinian, is the brainchild of childhood friends, Maria and Federica, who were raised on the shores of Costa Smeralda. With a life spent by the ocean, they were inspired to create a swimwear brand with quality and sustainability as it’s DNA. And the pristine nature of the beautiful island of Sardinia as its inspiration.
MAARÏ swimwear is created using fishing nets abandoned in our oceans. The finished material, ECONYL®, is produced via a revolutionary regeneration system that promotes lower consumption and a more responsible consumable life cycle for nylon. Transforming waste into an soft virgin quality yarn, ECONYL® is the perfect choice of fabric for this innovative new swimwear range.
The collection includes a range of figure-flattering modern silhouettes, including halter neck one pieces and triangle bikini tops with both high and low rise bikini bottom options. Available in either classic black or ivory white, with sustainability at the heart of the brand, all styles are limited edition.
Continuing its environmental commitment, MAARÏ joins the fight against deadly ghost nets. Donating 1% for every purchase to Healthy Seas, an initiative that removes waste, in particular fishing nets from the sea with the purpose of creating a healthier marine environment. MAARÏ also donates a percentage of profits to social NGOs that bring clean water to those in need through short and long-term solutions worldwide.
